Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was sunny, hot and humid once again today.  More south-west winds 10-15 mph with gusts to 22 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  The Avon beaches caught some sea mullet and croakers.  The Buxton and Frisco beaches had scattered catches of sea mullet and pompano.  Over ramp 55 in Hatteras some nice size sea mullets and some pompano were reported.  The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and some citation big red drum.  The offshore boats had good dolphin catches, a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  Two white marlin and nice 5-600 lb blue marlin released aboard the “Bite Me” today.  The “Bite Me” photo today below.

The St Croix Mojo Inshore Rods are durable and a great value with an excellent feel.  Fishing for trout and puppy drum in the waters of the Pamlico Sound is better with the St Croix Mojo Inshore Rods.
