Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was partly sunny but not as humid.   We had south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low to mid 80’s.  We had thunderstorms off and on all day with some rain showers.  Well you can walk to Cape Point now and there are fish being caught for the ones who making the trek.  Real good spanish mackerel and bluefish being caught.  A few sea mullet on the Buxton beach today.  On the Frisco beach there were some croakers and sea mullet reported.  The inshore boats caught lots of bluefish and gray trout with some speckled trout mixed in.  The offshore fishing was real good too.  Limits of dolphin, some nice wahoo and a few blackfin tuna,  One blue marlin was released.  The bottom fishing has been real good with sea bass, triggerfish and grouper being caught.  Below is the blue marlin that the “Bite Me” charter boat released today.
