Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was mostly sunny today.  We had south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.  The Buxton beach had spot, sea mullet and  bluefish.  Fishing Cape Point, the water was clear and a few spanish and bluefish were caught.  The Frisco beach had another good day of bluefish and croaker.  One guy reported a nice pompano that he lost in the wash was maybe 3 or 4 lbs.  The inshore boats had a real good day of speckled trout and spanish mackerel.  The offshore dolphin bite was really good.  A few wahoo and blackfin tuna were also caught.  The bottom fishing was really good with tilefish, sea bass, triggerfish and grouper caught.  The picture below was the “Bite Me” charter boat with their sailfish they released.
