Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was rainy early today.  The rest of the day was nice and sunny.  We had north-east winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in  the low 80’s.  With the thunderstorms off and on all day today the fishing was minimal.  Some sea mullet, spot, croaker and bluefish were reported on the Avon beach.  A few puppy drum on the Buxton beach and some bluefish at Cape Point.  The Frisco beach was slow with only a few sea mullet and bluefish.  The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel and bluefish on the ocean side.  Good catches of speckled and gray trout were caught in the Pamlico sound.  Offshore fishing was slow.  Only a few dolphin and wahoo were caught.  The bottom fishing was good with grouper, sea bass, triggerfish and tile fish being caught.
