Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The Weather in Frisco was nice, sunny and much cooler today. We had north winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s. The swell from Leslie has dropped considerably. The Avon beaches caught some sea mullet, pompano, small puppy drum and bluefish. Out at Cape Point there were some small puppy drum, sea mullet, pompano a pretty good numbers of bluefish and some rays caught. The Frisco beach had reports of bluefish and a few sea mullet. Down on the Hatteras beach there were some sea mullet, pompano, spot, small puppy drum, a few bluefish and spanish mackerel. The best inshore action today were the big red drum being caught in and around Hatteras Inlet. The offshore boats had another good day of wahoo fishing with a few dolphin and blackfin tuna being caught. One sailfish was released. One of the “Godspeed” charter boats wahoo pictured below.
