Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The weather in Frisco was sunny and nice all day. We had south-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s today.
Bluefish, sea mullet and a few puppy drum were reported on the Avon beach. The Buxton beaches had a few bluefish, some spot, croaker, puppy drum and flounder. Out at Cape Point there were bluefish caught with a few puppy drum. On the Frisco beach some bluefish, croaker and spot were reported. The Hatteras beach had some bluefish and pompano reported.
Good Luck to all of the Capital City Four Wheeler’s Fishing Tournament entrants which ends tomorrow morning. This is a 24 hour fishing tournament.
The inshore boats had real good speckled trout fishing. Boats fishing offshore today had excellent wahoo fishing, scattered dolphin, king mackerel and a few blackfin tuna. A white marlin and sailfish were released.
