Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:  Today the weather in Frisco was a little cooler with sunny skies.  We had north winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s today.

Bluefish, sea mullet and some flounder were reported on the Avon beach with one big red drum released.  The Buxton beaches and around Cape Point had a few bluefish, some spot, croaker, puppy drum and flounder.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beaches some bluefish, croaker, spot, flounder and some black drum were reported.  The picture below is Lavinia Kolarczyk with her 3 lb 4 oz black drum that she caught on the Frisco Beach today.  Pretty Work Lavinia and thank you.

The inshore boats caught a few speckled and gray trout today.   Only one boat fishing offshore today and they did pretty good with good wahoo, dolphin and blackfin tuna fishing.  They also released 2 sailfish.
