Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:  Today the weather in Frisco was partly sunny with cooler temperatures.  We had north-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s.

Fishing continues to be excellent.  On the Avon beach good catches of puppy drum, black drum, sea mullet, spot and a few flounder.  The Buxton beach had lots of puppy drum.  Over on the Frisco beach real good puppy drum and nice speckled trout with some bluefish mixed in.  Down on the Hatteras beach limits of speckled trout, puppy drum, bluefish and blow toads.

The inshore boats had good puppy drum and speckled trout catches.  The few boats that fished offshore today had a few wahoo, dolphin and blackfin tuna.
