Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: Today the weather in Frisco was partly cloudy. We had north-east winds 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s. The forecast is for another low pressure system to push-off and up the coast mid-week to create another potential noreaster.
Fishing today was still pretty good but the winds have increased some. On the Avon beach good puppy drum, bluefish, black drum and some sea mullet were caught. The Buxton and Frisco beaches had some good action. The puppy drum and speckled trout bite was good, also some bluefish and sea mullet were caught. The Hatteras beach had some decent puppy drum and flounder catches with a few bluefish, speckled trout and black drum caught.
A few boats fished offshore today and they had good catches of blackfin tuna and a few dolphin.
