Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:  Today the weather in Frisco was partly sunny.  We had north-east winds 10-15 mph with some gusts to 25 mph in the afternoon.  The temperatures were in the low 60’s.

The north beaches are still rough.   The Avon and Buxton beaches did have a few puppy drum caught.  The south beach is a little more manageable and fishing was pretty decent today.  Over ramp 49 today, puppy drum fishing was good, with a few sea mullet mixed in.  The puppy drum bite down near Hatteras Inlet was really good with many keeper size fish caught.

No boats fished offshore or inshore today.
