Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island. We had sunny skies with much lighter winds today.  The winds were from the north switching to the south-west at 5-10 mph.  The temperatures were in the upper 50’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable around low tide.

The north beach is still rough.  There were puppy drum caught out at Cape Point along with sharks and skates.  On the Frisco beach and down over ramp 55 in Hatteras,  a few puppy drum were caught.  Pretty much the same report as yesterday.

There were some good yellowfin tuna caught offshore today.  Lots of puppy drum were caught inshore.
