Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island. We had sunny skies and calm winds again today.  The winds were from the west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable and could be all week with the forecast of light winds and the ocean swell much smaller.

Fishing was slow today.  The report is the same as yesterday.  There were a few puppy drum caught out at Cape Point along with sharks and skates.  On the Frisco beach and Hatteras beach a few sea mullet and puppy drum were reported.

There were some nice speckled trout catches in the Pamlico Sound today near Hatteras Inlet.  No boats fished today offshore
