Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island. We had sunny skies and cooler temperatures today. The winds were from the north at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable and could be all week with the forecast of light winds and the ocean swell much smaller. On the November 29 the road will be closed until about 4 pm to do some major work putting a culvert pipe in trying to stop the high water from coming over.
Fishing was slow today. There were a few puppy drum caught out at Cape Point along with sharks and skates just like yesterday. On the Frisco beach and Hatteras beach a few sea mullet, sharks and skates were reported.
There were a few speckled trout and puppy drum catches in the Pamlico Sound today near Hatteras Inlet. No boats fished today offshore
