Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island. We had a beautiful sunny day with warmer temperatures.  The winds were from the south-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s. Our sand road at Mirlo Beach is still passable and should be all week.

Fishing was slow again today.  There were sharks and skates caught on the Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches.  A scattered puppy drum bite was reported on the Buxton beach.

The inshore boats had a real good day today.  They caught a bunch of puppy drum and speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound.  No boats fishing offshore today .
