Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was mostly sunny today.  The winds were from the north at 10-20 mph with gust to 35 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 40’s.  The ocean overwash is still occurring on the northern beaches around high tide and today we had minor overwash in between Frisco and Hatteras..  The swell forecast is supposed to be big through Sunday.

We still have no reports of fish caught today with more heavy surf from the low pressure.  I did sell some squid to some kids looking to fish but no reports back.

No boats fishing inshore or offshore.  We do have a few boats hoping to try it tomorrow if they can get through Hatteras Inlet.

woolrich oxbow bend flannel shirt

The Woolrich Oxbow shirt is so warm and soft, you’ll want to wear it indoors and out–from the first frost to the last snowfall. Woolrich starts with chunky, 7-ounce heavyweight cotton flannel, then pebble-wash it and brush both sides for extraordinary softness. It’s warm, too–double-layered throughout the forearm, the back yoke, and front placket.
