Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
It was such a nice and sunny day today with calm winds. The winds were from the south-east at 5-10 mph with the temperatures in the low 60’s. The ocean overwash is still occurring on the northern beaches around high tide.
We have no reports of fish caught from the beaches today. The kids who bought the squid on Saturday came in and said they did catch a sea mullet even with the surf as rough as it was. The swell has calmed down quite a bit on the Frisco and Hatteras beach and the water was cleaner with a greener look.
No boats fishing inshore. There were some boats fishing offshore today and they did have some real good bluefin tuna action late in the day. No pictures yet but maybe tomorrow I will have some from today.

Yo-Zuri H.D. Carbon is a fishing line that maximizes the advantages of fluorocarbon and a disappearing pink tint. Fluorocarbon is next to invisible in water and pink is one of the first colors to disappear underwater – doubling your invisibility advantage. The tunas can become leader shy and a high quality flurocarbon leader is the answer.
