Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was rainy most of the day today with gusty winds.  The winds were from the south at 10-20 mph with some gusts to 35 during the peak of the low pressure moving through.  The temperatures were in the upper 50’s.  The ocean overwash is still occurring on the northern beaches around high tide.

We have no reports of fish caught from the beaches today.  With this new low pushing through the waves have jumped up a bit and the seas are rough again.  They should be subsiding through Friday.

No boats fishing inshore or offshore.  No pictures of yesterday’s fish but the “Tuna Duck” did post Sunday’s catch with their 190# bluefin tuna.
