Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had partly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid 80’s.. The winds were out of the north-east around 5-10 mph.
Today on the Buxton beach sea mullet and pompano were caught. The fishing at Cape Point was excellent today with lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish caught on lures. Over on the Frisco beach some croaker and sea mullet were reported. Around Hatteras Inlet there were sea mullet, pompano, bluefish and a few flounder.
The boats that fished inshore caught some speckled trout and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound. Good bluefish and spanish mackerel catches were just outside Hatteras Inlet.
The offshore fishing was good today. Limits of wahoo and a few nice dolphin were caught. Below is the “Godspeed” charter boat with one of their wahoo caught today.
