Hatteras Island Fishing Report

 

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was overcast with a high of 75F.  Breezy, winds from the south west at 15-20 mph.

Puppy drum are everywhere.  Puppy drum reported just north of Buxton, along the jetties, Cape Point and the hook area.  Also reported in Buxton were  sea mullet, small bluefish, blow toads and some spots.  The hook area also had spots.  Frisco beaches had flounder, puppy drum and spot.  Quite a bit of catching around Frisco Pier.  In Hatteras, puppy drum, spot, small bluefish and flounder.

No inshore report for today.  Offshore boats caught wahoo and limits of dolphin.
