Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was nice and sunny.  We had north winds at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.

On the Buxton beaches some puppy drum, a few bluefish and croaker were reported. Out at Cape Point a few puppy drum and yearling drum were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach croaker, sea mullet and puppy drum were reported.  On the Hatteras beaches catches of flounder, puppy drum, bluefish and croaker were reported.

The inshore boats caught puppy drum again today in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had good dolphin catches, several citation wahoo and good blackfin and yellowfin tuna catches.  Bottom fishing for trigger fish today was good.
