Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had more sunshine and calm winds. We had north-east winds 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.
Today on the Buxton beaches catches of puppy drum, bluefish and some small flounder and sea mullet were reported. On the Frisco beaches a nice 18 in flounder was reported and a few puppy drum and bluefish. Down on the Hatteras beaches small flounder, puppy drum and bluefish were caught.
The inshore boats had pretty good puppy drum catches and real good speckled and gray trout.
The offshore boats had excellent king mackerel fishing with several citations. The dolphin and blackfin tuna fishing was good.
