Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was sunny.  We had north winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were around 70 degrees.

Today was another beautiful day!  On the Buxton beaches we had reports of puppy drum, bluefish and some sea mullet.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beaches catches of puppy drum, bluefish, a few sea mullet, blow toads and pompano were reported.

The inshore boats had puppy drum, gray and speckled trout.  The offshore boats had good king mackerel catches mostly by dead baiting, dolphin, blackfin tuna and a few wahoo.  The pictures below is some of the large king mackerel being caught aboard the “Godspeed” charter boat today.
