Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was clear with a high of 66F. It was a little breezy with winds out of the west at 15 to 20 mph.
On the Buxton beaches there were puppy drum, black drum, sea mullet, spot and blowtoads caught. Out at Cape Point there were puppy drum and a 44″ drum this evening. Near Frisco Pier there were puppy drum, bluefish, blow toad, spot and flounder. Hatteras had catches of blow toads, puppy drum, sea mullet and spot.
There is no inshore report for today. The offshore boats had good catches of dolphin, amberjack and blackfin tunas, with a few wahoo. Those who bottom fished caught red snapper and triggerfish. There was 1 blue marlin and 1 white marlin released today.
