Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had mostly sunny skies.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph switching to the south-west and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

We had pretty good fishing today.  On the Buxton beach some puppy drum, black drum and flounder were caught.  Out at Cape Point real good puppy drum and small bluefish were caught early this morning.  Over on the Frisco beach lots of black drum, some puppy drum and a few small flounder reported.

There were no boats out today, inshore.  The offshore fishing was decent today.  Some dolphin catches, a few wahoo and mako shark were caught.  Good tile fish and black sea bass were brought up from the bottom.
