Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was partly cloudy in the morning with steady rain the rest of the day.  The winds were from the south-east at 15 to 25 mph with gust to 35 mph.

Even though the beaches were rough they were catching fish.  On the Buxton beach puppy drum were reported.  Out at Cape Point puppy drum and big red drum fishing was pretty good.  Over on the Frisco beach good puppy drum fishing around the Frisco Pier and over ramp 49.  Down on the Hatteras beaches puppy drum and black drum were caught.

There is no inshore or offshore report for today due to the rough seas.
