Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was another beautiful day. The temperature today was around 70. Winds were from the East at 5-10mph and shifted to South-South-East at 10-20mph later in the afternoon.

In Buxton today the fishing was really busy. There were reports of sea-mullet, puppy drum, blow-toads, spot, skates, and dog sharks. There were also a large amount of big drum caught and released at the Point. In Frisco today there were puppy drum and blow-toads. In Hatteras today bluefish, spot, and blow-toads were caught.

Inshore to day the drum bite was great. There were reports of many large schools of drum all over today.

Offshore today was one of the better days this week. There were reports of gaffer dolphin from multiple boats. There were also blackfin tuna, grouper, black sea bass, amberjack, and tile fish caught.
