Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was a little cooler than yesterday. The sun was out but the temperature was in the lower 70’s, with North-North-East winds at 10-15mph.

From the beaches today the Sea-Mullet and Bluefish were all over the place. In Buxton today there were some nice sized Pompano caught. On the sound side near Canadian Hole there were some Puppy Drum caught. In Frisco today there were very few fish caught. Some Sea-Mullet and a few stray Bluefish and Flounder made there way from Hatteras.

Inshore today the charters had good bites of Puppy Drum.

Offshore today the boats brought in plenty of Gaffer Dolphin along with a few Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna. There were also a few grouper caught. Today there was a Blue Marlin Released and 2 Sailfish Released.
