Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was another beautiful day on the island. The skies were partly cloudy with winds from the North-East at 5-10 mph. The temperature was around 80 throughout the day.

From the beach today the fishing was spotty, In Avon there was sea mullet, pompano, and some bluefish. In Hatteras there was pompano, sea mullet, grey trout, and flounder caught.

Inshore today the red drum and grey trout were caught. Just outside of the inlet there were some blacktip sharks caught.

Offshore today the fishing was scattered. There was a variety of fish caught but the numbers were low. The wahoo continue to bite along with the dolphin, also a few blackfin tuna and king mackerel were caught. From the bottom there were trigger fish and red snapper.
