Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Another beautiful, but breezy day on the island.  It was 83F with NNE winds anywhere from 5 to 18 mph.

Buxton beaches report pompano, sea mullet and spot.  Frisco beach reports sea mullet, spot and croaker.  Hatteras beach reports sea mullet, flounder and bluefish.

The inshore boats caught some red drum and did a little clamming today.  The offshore boats had good dolphin catches, bailers and gaffers.  They had excellent catches of wahoo and a few blackfin tuna in the mix.

Good luck to all the boats in the 31st Annual Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament!
