Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was a cloudy but calm and warm day. The winds were 5-10 mph from the north early in the day but came around to the east in the afternoon. The temperature was around 80.
The bluefish seemed to be just about everywhere today. In Avon there were sea-mullet,spot, and flounder caught. In Buxton the were some bluefish caught. In Frisco the blues and sea-mullet were biting. in Hatteras there was a few small pompano, sea-mullet, and some croakers caught.
Inshore fishing today was pretty good with speckled and grey trout caught. The red drum and bluefish were biting in the sound also.
Offshore today was good with many boats returning with limits of dolphin and a scattered wahoo. From the bottom the tilefish were caught. Only a few billfish were caught today,
