Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The weather today wasn’t the prettiest. the winds were north-east 10-15 mph with cloudy skies. The temperature was around 80 throughout the day.

Even with the wind the fishing was good from the beach. On the Tri Villages beach’s there was puppy drum, spot, croaker, sea-mullet, flounder, and bluefish caught. From the Avon beach there was spot, croaker, and sea-mullet caught. In Buxton there was spanish mackerel and bluefish caught. Frisco beach was slow with a few sea-mullet caught. In Hatteras the fishing was great. The black drum and puppy drum were biting good along with croaker, flounder, bluefish, and sea-mullet.

Inshore today the boats the braved the wind caught limits off puppy drum.

The wind kept the boats from fishing offshore today.
