Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny, blue skies.  The winds were a light northeast around 5 mph and we had a temperature high of 72F.

Avon had reports of black drum, spot, pompano and sea mullet.  Buxton had puppy drum, yearling size drum, bluefish and amberjacks.  Frisco beach had puppy drum, bluefish and pompano.  We weighed another nice puppy drum in for Mike Hartley again today.  He is on a roll.  Hatteras beach reports flounder, puppy drum, bluefish and pompano.

The inshore boats have had good catches of puppy drum and some bluefish today.  Those that are going floundering at night are doing real good.  The offshore boats had good catches of king mackerel and blackfin tuna, along with some wahoo and triggerfish.
