Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was partly cloudy, with much cooler temperatures.  We had a high of 51F and northwest winds blowing 15-8 mph, then switching to the west-north-west tonight.

The only thing going on is sharks.  On Ramp 43, Clyde Coletrain from Rodanthe had a double-header on, one reel stripped all the way.  Rod and Gun’s very own Justin Waterfield and family were taking a beach ride, when they got flagged down by Clyde for help.  Justin helped bring the shark in.  There were two blacktips, 5 1/2 ft long.  Nice job! Here’s a couple of pictures taken.
