Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

This morning started off as a rain and wind event.  It blew a steady 25 mph out of the SSE, with higher gusts and heavy rain.  The rain stopped by the afternoon and the winds had diminished to 9 mph and switched to the west.  The temperature today was 65F.

There are some puppy drum around.  Craig Moore caught a 25″ puppy drum at Cape Point this morning, before all the rain started.  His picture is below.  Also pictured is a sunfish with one of Craig’s buddies.  The sunfish was found washed up on the beach this morning too.
