Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was we had mostly cloudy skies.  The morning started off nice, 55F and hardly any wind.  By noon time, the winds picked up and the temperatures had started to drop a little.  We have northeast winds for the remainder of the day, 10-15 mph.

The only thing being caught on the beach today have been sharks and skates.  Hopefully tomorrow will be different.

The offshore action picked up today.  There were quite a few bluefin tunas released and brought in.  The girls on the Reel Action brought in a bluefin.  Can’t wait for the show to air in the fall!  There were also some yellowfin tuna and gray tilefish.  Pictured below is Tuna Duck with a bluefin tuna and Bite Me with a bluefin tuna.
