Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was another beautiful day here on Hatteras Island, we reached a temperature high of 71F.  There was very little  wind out of the south this evening.

Avon Pier had some catches of blowtoads, bluefish and puppy drum.  Buxton beach had some puppy drum, blowtoads and bluefish as well.  Frisco and Hatteras beach reports bluefish, sea mullet, blowtoads and a few puppy drum.

The inshore/nearshore charters have been doing good on the red drum.  There have been several trophy size drum released today.  There were also some bluefish, gray trout and sea mullet caught too.  Pictured below is Hatteras Fishing Adventure with a nice red drum they caught today.

The offshore boats were catching more blackfin tunas today, quite a few citation size.  Some grouper and golden tile also.  Pictured below is a cool picture from Kite Hatteras with a blackfin tuna  on the gaff.
