Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had mostly sunny skies.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s.

Around the Buxton beaches there were blow toads, sea mullet and a few puppy drum reported.  Over on the Frisco beach sharks were reported.  Down on the Hatteras beaches some decent bluefish catches were reported along with blow toads and sea mullet.

The inshore boats had good catches of red drum around Hatteras Inlet.

The offshore fishing was really good today.  Lots of yellowfin and blackfin tuna, some wahoo and gaffer dolphin were all brought back to the dock.  The trigger fishing was good from the bottom today too.
