Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was another hot sunny day here on the island. The temperatures were in the upper 80’s with winds from the west at 5-10 mph. Later in the day there was thunderstorms showing up.

Fishing from the beach today was pretty good. In Avon the sea mullet, pompano, bluefish and some spanish mackerel caught. In Buxton there was pompano, sea mullet, and bluefish biting. Here in Frisco there was some sea mullet and puppy drum around. in hatteras the bluefish, pompano, and croaker were biting.

Inshore today there was some bigger drum around and spanish mackerel biting. Later in the day there was some grey trout and bluefish caught.

Offshore today the fishing was scattered. There was a nice catch of dolphin, a few wahoo, and some blackfin tuna caught. From the bottom there was some triggerfish and sea bass.
