Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had hot and humid conditions.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

Up on the Avon beaches there were spot and  coaker reported.  Around the Buxton beaches a few croaker, spot and puppy drum were caught  Over on the Frisco beaches some puppy drum were caught.  Down on the Hatteras beaches and Inlet area bluefish, spot, puppy drum and croaker were reported.

The inshore boats fishing the Pamlico Sound today caught big red drum, spot, flounder and bluefish.  Spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught outside Hatteras Inlet.

The offshore boats had excellent bailer dolphin catches with a few wahoo,
