Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had clear skies, with temperatures in the mid 80’s. The winds were out of the north this morning, then switched to the east-south-east around 5 mph.
We didn’t have any reports from the Avon area today. Buxton beaches had reports of sea mullet, croaker and pompano. The only reports from Frisco today was is was a beautiful day to be on the beach, the water was clear and blue. There were some flounder south of Ramp 49, towards the pier. Hatteras reports small bluefish, croaker, pompano and sea mullet.
The inshore boats had real good catches of red drum and spanish mackerel.
The offshore boats had excellent catches of dolphin, good catches of blackfin tuna and some wahoo. Picture below is Runaway Charters with a nice 87lb wahoo.
