Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had some scattered showers throughout the day. The temperatures were in the lower 80’s and winds were calm from the North in the morning turning south in the afternoon.
From the beach today there was great fishing. In Avon there was bluefish and blowtoads from the beach. From the pier there was bluefish, spot, spanish mackerel and sea-mullet biting. In Buxton the spanish mackerel and blues were biting great. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet and flounder caught. From the beach in Hatteras there was pompano, sea-mullet, flounder and bluefish biting.
Inshore today there was a good bite from the big red drum. Boats fishing near the beach had some good bluefish and spanish mackerel caught.
Offshore today there was limits of dolphin, some nice wahoo and a few blackfin tuna caught. From the bottom there was triggerfish and vermillion snapper biting.
