Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

This morning we had some more scattered showers. The temperatures were in the mid 80’s. Winds were 5-10 mph from the South-West.

From the beach today the fishing was pretty good. In Avon there was bluefish, blowtoads, sea-mullet and pompano caught from the beach. From the pier there was croaker, sea-mullet, bluefish and spanish mackerel biting. In Buxton there was spanish mackerel and blues at the point. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet, pompano and bluefish caught. Hatteras beach had a few flounder caught along with bluefish, pompano and sea-mullet.

Inshore today there was some good spanish mackerel fishing and a few king mackerel caught. The big red drum are still here along with some keepers. The clamming was great today.

Offshore the dolphin fishing was great again. The wahoo bite was scattered but a few made it back to the docks.
