Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
The sun took a break today and we had a slight chance of showers. It was cloudy with cool temperatures. Winds were North-East at 10-15 mph. Temperatures were in the low 70’s dropping as the day went on.
Beach fishing is still good even with a little wind. In Avon there was bluefish and sea-mullet biting. From the Avon Pier there was some red drum, sea-mullet and bluefish. In Buxton there was puppy drum and sea-mullet. In Frisco there was bluefish and blow toads caught. Hatteras beach there was puppy drum, sea-mullet, bluefish and a few flounder biting.
Ken Wilson caught and released this nice red drum today off the Avon Pier.
Inshore today the puppy drum fishing was great again.
Offshore the dolphin fishing is still going great. The wahoo bite picked up today with. The black-fin tuna bite was scattered.
