Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Another sunny day here on the island. Temperatures were in the mid 70’s. Winds were calm from the North in the morning turning South in the afternoon.

Fishing from the beach was great today. There were lots of puppy drum and even some larger drum all along the beach. In Avon there was sea-mullet and bluefish from the beach. From the pier there was spot and bluefish. In Buxton there was a good bite from the blues. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet and blowtoads. Hatteras beach had flounder and bluefish caught.

Inshore today the fishing was great. There was a good bite of gray trout and speckled trout. The bluefish were biting as well today.

Offshore today there was a scattered bite from the dolphin. There was some larger sized wahoo caught today. The black-fin tuna bite was good.
