Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The weather was beautiful today with blue skies. The temperatures were in the upper 60’s. Winds were North-West at 10-15 mph.

Windy conditions slowed the beach fishing down. From the beach in Avon there was some bluefish and sea-mullet. Avon pier had a good day with sea-mullet, spot, small bluefish and citaition sized red drum released. In Buxton and here in Frisco there was a very scattered sea-mullet bite. Hatteras beach had a good puppy drum bite with bluefish and sea-mullet biting as well.

Not much for inshore fishermen today. There was only a few puppy drum caught.

There was a great black-fin tuna bite today. There was a scattered wahoo and dolphin bite today.
