Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was a beautiful day on Hatteras Island. We had a high of 60F and winds out of the north at 4-6 mph. The winds switched to the west-south-west this evening, with very little wind.
Avon beach had reports of small bluefish, a few sea mullet and some blow toads. Buxton reports one big drum, a few puppy drum, a few speckled trout and some blow toads. Frisco reports small puppy drum and blow toads. By the pier this morning there were quite a few skates and a few small bluefish later on in the day. Hatteras reports blow toads and skates.
There were no inshore boats fishing today. Some of the guys are switching gears and getting ready for duck hunting.
A few boats went offshore today. They did pretty good. The king mackerel fishing was good, there was some dolphin, wahoo and some blackfin also.
We have a new NC State Record for a White Marlin. The Fin Again Charter Boat caught this new record, weighing in at 138lbs. The old record was 118lbs. Nice job guys!!!

Benelli Super Nova
The Benelli SuperNova embodies a modular design concept in a pump-action shotgun. With the optional SteadyGrip™ stock, this 12-gauge shotgun can be transformed into a high-performance turkey gun or mount a fully-rifled slug barrel for tack-driving accuracy on deer. It’s like having several Benelli shotguns in one. There’s even a barrel with rifle sights for home defense and a SuperNova Tactical fitted with a ghost-ring rear sight and pistol grip.
At the heart of this new pump gun is a lightweight steel skeleton framework over-molded with a high-tech polymer, making the new SuperNova super-light, super-strong and almost completely impervious to any weather condition. But the SuperNova isn’t just tough on the outside. With its dual-action bars and two-lug rotary bolt head that locks up steel to steel inside the barrel, the SuperNova is rock solid to the core.
