Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today turned out to be a beautiful day here on Hatteras Island.  We reached a high of 63F today, with light winds out of the north this morning at 3 mph.  The winds switched a little to the northeast around 4 mph, then to the northwest tonight.

Avon beach had reports of small bluefish, skates, blow toads and sea mullet.  Over at the Avon Pier, was a little action, there was one big drum caught, small bluefish, blow toads and some gray trout. Buxton had reports of  a few sea mullet, small bluefish and some blow toads.  Frisco reported puppy drum and some small bluefish.  Hatteras had some small flounder.

There is no inshore report for today.

The offshore boats had a really good day today.  They had good catches of king mackerel, dolphin, wahoo and blackfin tuna.
