Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was a little warmer with sunny skies.  We had north-east winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.

Up on the Avon beach good  puppy drum, sea mullet and bluefish caught  Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum, black drum and some blow toads were reported.  Over on the Frisco beach speckled trout, sea mullet and puppy drum were biting. Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish, blow toads, sea mullet, puppy drum and flounder were reported.

No boats fishing inshore today.

The offshore fleet had a good catch of king mackerel, yellow fiin tuna and blackfin tuna with a few wahoo and amberjacks caught.
