Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today the skies were a bit overcast, with a high of 57F. We had winds out of the northeast from 4-10 mph.
Fishing has been a little on the slow side. The only reports are coming from Buxton. Some bluefish, small puppy drum and speckled trout were reported there today.
There are no charter boats out today. There are some commercial boats out and they had good catches of king mackerel.
Ramp 44 is now opened! There is still a few inches of water but it is passable. It is recommended that you still use Ramp 43 due to a small drop off at the end of the ramp.
