Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was partly sunny with some rain showers after dark.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

Up on the Avon beach some bluefish and sharks have been reported.  A few speckled and gray  trout were reported on the beaches of Buxton.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton a real good bluefish bite was going on today using metal lures.  The Frisco beach had some good blow toads catches.

No reports of boats fishing inshore today.

The offshore boats caught some king mackerel.

Ramp 44 is now opened! There is still a few inches of water but it is passable. It is recommended that you still use Ramp 43 due to a small drop off at the end of the ramp.
